About
Where real estate gets fixed
Every home sale produces an inspection report, and almost every report turns into a scramble: who can quote this, how much will it really cost, and can it get done before closing? WorkOrder turns that report into scoped repair jobs and sends each one to up to three licensed local contractors, so agents, homeowners, and property managers get real quotes instead of guesses.
Why we built it
WorkOrder comes from gaps our founder saw on both sides of the deal.
For real estate agents, one of the hardest parts of the job is finding good vendors for their clients: before a home goes on the market, while it's in escrow, and after it closes. For general contractors, nothing tied the value of the real estate process to the people who actually do the work. Every transaction creates repair work, but there was no reliable bridge between the agents and property managers who see it first and the contractors who can do it.
WorkOrder is that bridge: the most valuable job source for contractors, and a trusted vendor network for agents, property managers, and homeowners. Building it made the thesis clear. There is a better way to connect people who need work done with the contractors who do it.
